Melbourne Instruments have added a new Macro Oscillator Mode to Nina, featuring 45 waveform models using the code from Émilie Gillet’s renowned Mutable Instruments Braids Eurorack module. This new mode unlocks a vast palette of sound design possibilities and is further enhanced by Nina’s advanced synth architecture, extensive modulation matrix, analog filter, and morphing capabilities.

Tom Hall - NINA Pack

Tom Hall is a Tasmanian, Australian electronic audio-visual artist who now calls Los Angeles home. With a two-decade career in the music industry across multiple continents, Tom’s journey has been expansive. His educational background includes graduating from the Australian National University, majoring in Media Arts, and pursuing further studies in sound at Kyoto Seika University, which laid the foundation for his artistic pursuits.

This new pack from Tom Hall was designed in conjunction with the launch of the NINA 2.0 Multi-Track Sequencer. The sounds here are tailored for (but not limited to) use with the new NINA Sequencer update. Many of these presets are the same as used in Tom’s NINA Pattern Pack that is also available to download.

This new Preset Pack for NINA is unlike any other we've offered. Tipping more into the electronic and experimental realm, these presets also take advantage of some of the more recent firmware updates to NINA including Tempo Sync for LFOs and more to offer a diverse range of presets from lush pads to aggressive sawtooth leads, FM style sounds and evolving effects-heavy excursions.

KSQ Music aka Kyle Kilpatrick is a Producer, Sound Designer and self-proclaimed Synth Enthusiast. Kyle recently got his hands on a NINA synth and it wasn't long before he'd cooked up a bank of new presets. Based in USA, Kyle has been collaborating with VCO USA to also create NINA and DELIA demo videos.

The music of FML invites the producer to find their own unique sample in each composition. Drew is a renowned professional sound designer who has been involved in creating patches for synthesizers, effects and software products beginning with the Casio CZ-101 in 1984. Sound design for other instrument manufacturers include Roland, Korg, EMU, Eventide, Dave Smith Instruments, Nord and more.

For the last 15 years Matt has been the keyboard player and now MD of Jamiroquai. He has written around 30 songs with JK for the band and co-produced and co-wrote the entire last release 'Automaton'. In addition, Matt has produced records for Julian Perretta and Laura Doggett for Universal and RCA.
Matt works mainly from his own studio in a lovely rural location at the end of the Metropolitan line for visiting London artists.

JULY 4, 2023: We are super excited to release a new Preset Pack designed by LA-based Producer, Musician & DJ, Dām Funk. Nina owners can easily add these new presets for a unique & exclusive batch of LA funk sounds that you won’t find anywhere else. From sweeping pads to phat buzzy basslines, the thick warm sounds of Dām’s modern synth funk are now yours to use and create with. Check out some quick previews of the new sounds below, including Dām’s full NINA song created using only sounds from NINA, including drums and percussion. New pack includes 25 Presets.
Download and add to your NINA to access all 25 new Presets. More Preset previews at SOUNDCLOUD
DELIA owners and users should check your new synth to ensure you have the latest Factory Preset Banks. If you’re synth is not running Firmware version 1.0.1 out of the box, it’s likely that your Presets are incomplete. Before you begin adding your own Presets, please download the ‘RESTORE’ file and update your DELIA to the most current Presets Library.
The RESTORE file contains 10 Banks of Presets. FAVOURITES, BASSES, LEADS, KEYS, STRINGS, PADS, EFFECTS, PERCUSSION, ARP and BRASS. If you don’t have all these Banks we strongly recommend you run a RESTORE process to add the latest Presets.
To begin the Restore process, download the file and copy to USB drive. Do not ‘unzip’ the file. Insert drive into Delia USB-A port. Press SYSTEM, and then navigate to RESTORE BACKUP. Press ENTER to begin the process.
DELIA Factory Presets
New MPE Presets

JUNE 29, 2023: Our latest firmware update adds MPE compatibility to NINA. To take full advantage of this new feature it’s necessary to use Presets designed specifically for use with MPE devices. We’ve taken some of our favorite Nina presets and added MPE functionality so you can experience the full potential of this new update. Please note you’ll need to connect an MPE device such as the Expressive E Ozmose or Embodme ERAE Touch to achieve full ‘Midi Polyphonic Expression’. (NOTE: This updated set has same MPE settings applied on A and B patches.)
To use the new set, simply download the file and use Nina’s Preset Management to import the new Bank. Download the .zip file and copy to a compatible USB Flash Drive (do not unzip). See the NINA USER MANUAL for more instructions.
